Das Spiel ist das “Mario Kart” für die Playstation und dank Multiplayer Modus mit bis zu 12 Spieler und Anpassungsmöglichkeiten so gar noch besser! _ Leider ist es für PS3 ein bisschen teuer: PS3: ~50€ PSP: ~20€ _ Eigentlich wollte ich das Video in HD hochladen, aber das ist bei DSL 1500 schwierig!

The only thing better than Xbox is Xbox Live, as it gives you the opportunity to play with your buddies -and complete strangers – from all over the world. Whether you are in the mood for sports, racing or shoot em ups, you can play anytime, anywhere.

Xbox Live comes in two flavors, Silver and Gold, but regardless of which you choose, you can integrate it with Windows Live Messenger. This opens the door to more fun, as you get to use avatars, create a profile, record all your gaming achievements, use video chat and more.

All this comes at a price, of course; to get the most form Xbox Live, you need to have a DSL line. You also have to pay for Xbox Live, but there are ways you can get it for free.

1. Trial Cards

The easiest way is to get the Free Trial Card. With the card, you will be able to open an account, and play Xbox Live without charge for eight weeks or so. They are available from a variety of web sites.

2. Free Game Trials

Several Xbox games, such as Star Wars Battlefront and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, come with free codes that allow you to play Xbox Live at no charge for two months.

These are not just limited to Xbox games you can buy at the stores, but there are also some downloadable games on the Net that come with these trial codes.

3. Freebies

Whether it is a promo from an online gaming magazine or a freebie from a game, there are always free Xbox Live codes. Just keep your eye and ears open, especially on game sites that are coming out with a new product for the gaming platform.

4. Go to Microsoft’s website

Every so often Microsoft offers promotions for Xbox, and a lot of times this involves giving people the chance to play it without any charge for certain periods. As the creators of Xbox, it pays to visit their site, as any new announcements or freebies will be posted there.

Usually, the best time to expect free time on Xbox Live is when there is a gaming event taking place (such as the launching of a new game). there will usually be a tie up with Microsoft and the promo may include free codes.

5. Websites

Among the most popular sources of free Xbox Live trial codes are gaming websites. The process for getting these codes will vary from site to site, but generally they follow this pattern.

The first is to take part in a survey question, and then fill out a form and register on their site. After completing the registration form, you will be able to log on to Xbox Live. A screen or dialog box will come up, called either Promo Guide or Prepaid Card. Follow the instructions, and you will be able to play.

There are several Internet web sites that provide these codes: these include, but are not limited to, Invision Free Site 1, Invision Free Site 2, Xbox, Xbox Free Zones, Free Zone Rewards, Team Box Forum, Gaming Lagoon, Xbox, Box Deal and many more.

First off let me just say I need friend requests, so here’s my player id – JBResh. Just got my PS3 Console yesterday and can’t keep my hands off the controller! There’s so many features, it’s impossible to use them all in one day. Even on my little old 13″ tv the graphics are great. Anything negative said about this console is most likely false. My ps3 has been running for about 8 hours straight and is no more than warm to the touch. It’s just the perfect console. Please spend the extra $100 and get this system, you won’t regret it. It was an easy decision for me between 360 and PS3 Console for this huge reason. PS3 Console has wireless and bluetooth built-in. Xbox 360 does not, so if you need it wireless for online play and surfing the internet, like me, you have to buy a little gadget for $100, so now both consoles just became the same price.

When it comes to the games of each console, the 360 already came out with all its “big name” games (Halo 3, Gears of War 2, etc.), but Playstation 3 is just starting to get a wave of great “only for PS3 Console” games (Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 10/09, God of War 3 4/10, etc.).

Comparing the sheer looks of both the xbox 360 and PS3 Console, most people will prefer the ps3. The shine of black body looks really awesome, but the dull matte paint on the 360 looks like the 1980s NES. Plus the 360 has an outdated disc loader, has tray come out to insert the disc onto (even the wii doesn’t have this, come on Microsoft), the PS3 Console has a slot to take and eject the disc, with touch sensitive eject and power buttons.

Finally, there’s reliability. Everyone has that friend that always let’s you down. For some that friend is the xbox 360. Those “red rings of death” will eventually show up for all 360 owners, since the 360 has a 33% failure rate (absolutely unacceptable). The PS3 Console only has a 1% failure rate. I know people who are on their 4th and 5th 360, and I know people who still have their first PS3 Console. I’ve heard from some friends that they “wrap a towel around their 360″ to fix the red rings of death. That certainly sounds aesthetically pleasing to the eye (I typed sarcastically).

Basically, the PS3 Console is just an all-around powerhouse of a console with enough feature to write a novel about. The price will catch up to the 360 owners quickly, so don’t get sticker shock. it’s okay if you go with the 360, I won’t hate you, but definitely consider EVERYTHING about both consoles and do research to make your best decision. I’ve been due for a new game system for a while now. The last one I had was the ps2 when it was new. So yes this was not a hard decision because I was very happy with my ps2 and expected no less with the Playstation PS3. But some other factors that played into the decision to buy a Playstation PS3 over a 360 or a wii.

One was that sony took their time and made the system right unlike the 360 which was rushed and the red ring of death became a nation wide epidemic. Another reason was that blu ray recently became the next generation in disc storage and blu ray is supported by the ps3 unlike the 360 which uses dvds for the games and had a optional attachment for hd dvd which aren’t going to be produced anymore.
