Can Science Prove That A Creator Cannot Be Ruled Out?
You might think that God and science conflict with each other. I did at one time, but I’ve learned the truth. Religion can sometimes muddle the truth, and try to conflict with science. However, if you are seeking the truth with a blank slate and an open mind, you might be surprised at what conclusions you come out with.
Albert Einstein believed in God, and so do 70% of modern scientists. Among the most influential scientist of today, 40% of them believe in a “Personal God” like the one of the Bible. Stephen Hawking says that it is personal choice, but God cannot be ruled out as the cause for Creation.
Many conditions have to be perfect for life as we know it to exist on Earth: Earth is the perfect distance from the Sun; other solar systems that we have investigated so far have gas giants closest to their stars; others have planets that circle their stars with deadly elongated cycles. Earth seems to exist in a place of perfect conditions in our Universe, but Earth seems so small on the grand scale of things.
Planet Earth Among The Size Of The Universe
The Milky Way galaxy is home to about 300 billion stars. Our Sun is just one of them! Of the 300 billion stars in our galaxy, it is estimated that at least 6 billion of those stars could have Earth-like planets in their solar systems. We started looking for them a long time ago.
We haven’t found planets that are similar to Earth yet, but we are just getting started. We are lucky enough to live in a time when we can calculate the date of the universe as we know it. Since all of the galaxies are moving away from each other (at a rate in which we can observe), we can assume that about 15 billion years ago everything was a singularity. 15 billion years is a very long time… hard for most to imagine.
Like many deists, Prof. Stephen Hawking doesn’t believe that a caring, personal God would knowingly create an imperfect world. They assume that this universe was supposed to be God’s ultimate perfect creation, but it was not. Prof. Hawking does not deny God, but he does not believe in a personal God. He doesn’t believe that God has a plan for him.
God Does Communicate To Us
God speaks to our spirits, if we seek Him with an open heart and mind. Science cannot prove nor disprove the spiritual world, but when we rely on science for the answers to everything, we start to believe that it can provide them.
When you seek the truth about life with an open mind and an open heart, God will show you the answers. Don’t let your friends views or your family’s views about God determine your own. God wants each an every one of us to willingly chose Him – despite the opposition.
